Rodolfo Mora

Principal

For almost 2 decades Rodolfo Mora has designed a wide range of project types from mixed-use, multi-family residential, retail and hospitality.

As one of the founding partners of Next Architecture, Rodolfo Mora is the creative lead behind many projects of the firm’s award-winning portfolio. His work is characterized by a strong design vision resulting from collaboration with clients, stakeholders and the community.

"I believe that people respond more positively to authentic and well-designed spaces. I always strive to design transformative experiences - buildings and spaces that enhance the everyday lives of those who live and work within it.”

Rodolfo began his career as a designer at HOK Chicago, working on Hospitality and Health Care projects. In 2014, he joined Studio One Eleven / P+R Architects and became the Design Director of the International Studio. His international portfolio includes Twin Parks and The Gardens, both in Taiwan, and Vanguard in Huzhou, China, to name a few. All have garnered global recognition for design excellence.

Prior to founding Next Architecture, Rodolfo was the Design Director at TCA Architects where he led project teams from concept design to construction documentation. His strong "form-giving" skills and hands-on leadership led to several more awards.

In 2014, AMLI MDR - a 585-unit Luxury apartment project in Marina del Rey, CA - received the Gold Nugget Grand Prize for Best-on-the Boards Multi Family. Two years later, Neptune Marina - another 526-unit apartment project adjacent to AMLI MDR - won the same Gold Nugget Prize. Both projects are completed and are actively leasing.

Rodolfo is an exceptional sketch artist with a natural capacity for big picture planning. He graduated from University of Santo Tomas, in the Philippines where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture.
