Job Description Summary:

 Senior Job Captain is responsible for overseeing the coordination and creation of project design deliverables and construction documentation for various types of projects ranging from multifamily, mixed-use and commercial projects.

 

JOB TYPE: Full time

EXPERIENCE:

Architecture: 5+ years minimum, with at least 3 years as a job captain required

Multi-family housing experience preferred

LOCATION: Work From Home or at our office in Long Beach, CA

JOB FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:

  • Contributing to design and technical project development in all phases of project delivery.

  • Producing advanced detailed construction documents to reflect the design intent.

  • Supporting Project Managers and Principals in monitoring budgets and schedules and maintaining project documentation.

  • Moving between projects as needed to meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Revit, BIM, Bluebeam and Sketch-Up

  • Reviewing drawings to ensure compliance with company standards and building code regulations.

  • Supervision of staff and redlining other’s work

  • Providing excellent oral and written communications with clients, consultants, and team members.
